Tai Chi Form 24

Return to your tai chi roots with a lovely tai chi Form 24.  And who better to start your day than I love photography and one thing that  jumps out at me is the beauty of this video. White uniform, white stone courtyard, the effects of the sun peeking in-and-out of the grey clouds, the wind, the music, even the birds singing.  Coupled with a masterful performance of the 24 form by Gold Medal Champion Angela Hsu Cantafio, the viewer is left  wondering where she ends and her surroundings begin.

Whether a beginner tai chi player, or a pro, the 24 form is a great one to revisit.   Otherwise known as the Beijing standardized (simplified) 24 Form, this is the form most often seen played by large groups in parks and social centers across the world, because it is probably the most universally known form.

This was filmed in Sydney, Australia in 2008 by Dan Stefan.
