Push Hands Lesson 9 , Outer Elbow Spiral & Roll

By on 01/10/2016

In today’s installment of Push Hands lesson 9, Adrian and Ian show us a more challenging exercise called “Outer Elbow Spiral and Rolling”.   It becomes pretty apparent by now that we must pay attention to a good standing foundation for stance and stability, as one could easily get off balance if they do not maintain the proper form.  Also, since this exercise requires a wide range-of-motion with the forarms touching,  one has to seriously concentrate on the movement, and try not to allow the movement to become rote.

No worries though, Ian describes proper technique with helpful tips all throughout the lesson.
