Push Hands Lesson 12 – Applied Kineseology

By on 02/29/2016

This push hands lesson 12 (said “lesson 11” in the video) of Tai Chi for Self Defense, Push Hands series,  Ian culminates the Push Hands series with an editorial and explanation of applied kineseology.   Applied Kineseology is a means of using muscle strength / weakness against a steady  force, as a diagnostic tool.  I am familiar with it from my chiropractor who has used this with various applications.  Ian uses his knowledge of vectors applied during Tai Chi as an example, pointing out how overcoming strong forces with a minimal force using vector knowledge is how Tai Chi Push Hands becomes so effective.

I hope you have enjoyed learning from this 12 part series on Push Hands; thank you Ian Sinclair for making these videos available.
